
Kasturi Bhattacharjee, PGDHRM, Psy.D., obtained her Masters in Human Resource Management in India, and Masters of Arts and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, CO and a postdoctoral training in Behavioral Psychology at the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA. She is currently working as a forensic psychologist in Eastern State Hospital, as an adjunct faculty in Regent University, and in private practice.
Dr. Bhattacharjee has worked in a variety of integrated health care settings including hospital, academic medical center, state psychiatric hospitals, correctional center, and in a community college. Her clinical interests include providing evidenced based treatments in individual and group formats for patients with severe mental illnesses, restoration services for individuals found incompetent to stand trial, psychosocial rehabilitation, and addressing issues related to poor adjustment to chronic illnesses.
